Girls & Gardens

The girls and I took a trip to the Denver Botanic Gardens with some friends last week and although it was hot it was really beautiful.

At home Avery really enjoys picking the flowers on our porch and decorating herself. She says, "I'm gettin' married". She'll be a lovely bride, let's just hope she waits awhile longer ;)

 And here are a few shots of our yard which has come a long way from the dirt & weed parking lot we moved into. Trevor is always hard at work out here making it beautiful for us. We are so lucky.

4th of July Parade

Once again the girls took part in the annual Highlands Children's Bike Parade. This year Jordyn was old enough to ride her bike, Avery was going to ride in the wagon, but opted to walk instead.
