Lil's B'day

We threw a little 6th birthday party for Lilja after school on her birthday. Jordyn helped make cupcakes and sang the birthday song from beginning to end. Lilja's grandma was able to join us and party hats were worn by all. Happy 6th Birthday Lil!

Of course I can!

Jordyn LOVES to help me feed Avery. Which as you can imagine is a total mess and really only fun for Jordyn. So the other night I said, "No you can't feed baby tonight, mommy gets to do it." To this she replied, in her most matter of fact tone, "Of course I can!" How could I say no.

She also invited her friend Parsley, the overweight duck to dinner the other night. They had a lovely meal and Parsley really enjoyed being fed at the table.

Our annual trip to the Stockshow was a blast. Jordyn was thrilled - Avery was mildly curious and fun was had by all. Well, except maybe the pig in the petting area. Sorry piggy.

Chasing the pig was one of the highlights.

First Day!

Jordyn June; ready for her first day at pre-school. She was most excited about her new lunch box. Over-all the day went well, though she missed her mommy periodically, and her mommy missed her the entire time. She is going once a week for 4 hours and has gone 3 times so far. Each time leaving in the morning gets harder, but the day itself seems to go better and by the time I come to pick her up she is having tons of fun. It's a big adjustment for both us, so far so good.
